Podcast service.

I know why I have no comments in my blog: You have no time to visit this page, read it and certainly write an answer. That's easy and is okay.

So why can't we eliminate these unnecessary steps "Visit" and "Read", leaving only a "Post Comment"? We have some time traveling to work and back... Honestly, I prefer listening audio books while walking back home (if there is no good company to share my walk).

Here is the idea: Provide real-time podcasting service to bloggers/news sites. In the morning site visitors could select blogs/news/articles they would like to listen to and receive narrated version in the evening. Or visitors could subscribe to audio-version of a blog (eliminating "Visit" step).

You can outsource this service to India/xUSSR/China. Of course narrators should have great speaking skills.

How can this bring money? Easy: context audio ads are more than suitable here...

Unfortunately I cannot give you narrated version of this post... yet :).

Nice :)
Except the one thing which could be eliminated in the future I guess: you should have pretty good internet connection and unlimited traffic :)

Dude, this is not a future ;). It is our present :)...

Some facts?
Japan Launches "Super-Speed" Internet Satellite - 155 Mbps down / 6 Mbps up
Google Buys Into Undersea Cable - ... will have a capacity of up to 7.68 Tbps...

BTW, I'm quite happy with my ADSL connection :). 1.5 Mbps down / 512 Kbps up, 30$ per month.

Yeaaaah, baby!
I didn't mean western countries :)
xUSSR is still somewhere in the big f*cken time whole so not everybody could meet this conditions... So sad, I hope it will be our scary dream in few years...

First of all it should be India and China! Their ISPs and costs are just perfect ;).

In the second, here, in xUSSR it's not as bad as you may think :). E.g. according to this source software market value in Russia reaches 80 Bln Rubles in 2007 (approx. $3.232 bln).

And finally, here you can find Ukrtelecom prices. They are quite friendly. As far as I understood you can get internet access with the rate of 100 Mbps only for $420 per month...
